BASKET CASES
Alien Kabaret (2) appeared in the Acoustic Tent at the two-day Wickerman Festival, near Dumfries, at the end of July. On the main stage were luminaries such as the Levellers, the Buzzcocks, Spiritualized and the Selecter, while the Acoustic stage also boasted the talents of, among others, Quirkus, Pete Cura and Andy Chung, plus a scary punk band who made Woodstock understandably nervous when she heard the lyrics to one of their songs..."Snoopy was my friend, I had to chop his head off. Shine on."

Trevor's splendid Tai Chi wicker sculpture is no more but the photographic evidence lives on.
