HOLY THUNDERCLAPS, BATPERSON!!
Monday, October 18 (or maybe the 25th depending who's
to be believed) sees the release of Thunderclap Newman's
first project since 1969 - a reworking of their worldwide
hit, Something In The Air. It's released on a 3-song
advance EP for the forthcoming album, Pick 'N Tell.
The record is produced by Simon Hanhart, of Tin Machine/Marillion/Perfect
Day fame.
Sunshine In My Life, another song from the EP, will
be played on Radio
Six International from next week, alongside Woodstock's
song Beautiful Afternoon.

What's this doing in the Woodstock Taylor news section?
The recording features two of Woody's collaborators
(and therefore Cuppa Records artists) - the singer and
keyboard legend Zoot Money, who takes over the lead
vocals, and songwriter Pete Brown on percussion - his
song, The Old Soul Singer, is also featured on the EP.
Zoot is producer and keyboard player on Woodstock Taylor's
debut album, Road Movie, on which Pete is playing percussion.
Road Movie includes a cover of a Jack Bruce/Pete Brown
song, Make Love Part 2. Both men are lined up to work
with Woodstock again on the wittily-named Road Movie
2. The above-mentioned Thunderstorm is just one of the
contributing factors to an extension of your anticipation.
