CHART LATEST...

TONGUE TIED #4 IN BLUES CHART at m3unsigned.com

RIGHT THING AND F U AT #6 & #7

meanwhile, in the cutthroat world of download chart placings, Right Thing has fallen from #2 to #36 in the Alternative chart on DiscoverRadio. Any suspicions of rival artists voting the song down are, of course, completely without provable foundation.

Woodstock says:

"I was really delighted to have such high chart placings on DiscoverRadio this week, and I'd like to thank all who voted me there.

"As for the sudden dramatic drop in their positions, all the other songs there are so genuinely cool it's inconceivable to suppose that such groovy music could originate from people prepared to resort to dirty tricks to improve their ranking on a list that (although it's fun to win) ultimately has no bearing whatsoever on life in the real world. I've been busy voting up the songs I particularly admire. The songs I don't like I simply don't vote for.

Peace and love."

RIGHT THING RISES AGAIN

A funny thing happened yesterday. Right Thing got to Number One in the pop charts over at mp3unsigned.com and then stopped playing. This possibly accounted for its sudden disappearance not just from the top spot but from the entire chart.

So it had to be reloaded and start again from scratch in this particular poll.

On the plus side, all this brought it to the attention of a bunch of new listeners who seem to like it so far, and the song is now headed back up the charts, having just overtaken a song called "F U (If You)" by an unknown songwriter called...er...Woodstock Taylor... to reach the #24 slot.
[10am update - the songs are currently sitting at #8 and #9, with Tongue-Tied up from #13 to #5 in Blues.]

All colossally high ratings will be gratefully received - for any of the three songs on mp3unsigned.com: Tongue-Tied, F U or Right Thing.
