Since early January Woodstock and a group of friends have been busy producing a new fundraising CD, which is almost ready to go on sale in aid of the Mercy Corps Tsunami Relief Campaign.

Independent Artist Aid - Hope Never Dies is a compilation of 17 songs by artists from seven different countries around the world.

Co-produced with Indienetunes.com, Buddy Lee of Twist of Fate and Don Spradlin, this is a real team effort that has seen co-operation, hard work and goodwill bouncing around the globe between the USA, Scotland, England, Austria, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.

Much midnight oil has been burned and plenty more will go the same way in an effort to promote this CD and support the Mercy Corps' amazing work, which has only just begun.

Woodstock recorded the 2005 mix of her song "Happening" especially for the project, with a brand new lead vocal line fleshed out with added backing vox and rhythm guitar tracks. The song first appeared on the album Road Movie, by Woodstock Taylor & The Aliens, and features Zoot Money (who produced the original version) on keyboards and the legendary Ronnie Johnson on lead guitar.
