WOODSTOCK
FEATURED IN ISSUE #1 OF NEW ONLINE MAGAZINE
New
online magazine Groove Machine is out today, sporting an
interview with Woodstock Taylor and a full album review
of Welcome To Planet Woodstock for good measure.
"In
my opinion it’s artists like Woodstock Taylor that should
be making millions with record contracts and sold out world
tours. It’s artists like her that keep music good, because
it’s real."
"If
the Beatles - Sergeant Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band the
album was the A side of an acid trip, then Woodstock Taylor
would be the B side"

The review
is pretty good, too, although Roberts is less keen on the
lounge numbers in the set. Funnily enough his least favourite
songs are the very ones which have fared best on cult radio
station Radio Six International, a virtual home from home
for underground lounge lovers.
Just goes
to show that one man's Desert Island Discs are another man's
coffee coasters.
Terrific
to get such extensive coverage just in advance of a new
pressing of the album (watch this page for announcements),
Cuppa Records
wishes all the best to Groove Machine magazine for a long
and successful run of independently minded music journalism.
