the Easter
Special broadcast
of Hope Never
Dies.

episode of The
Home Made Hit Show, a new podcast full of... home
made hits. This show, which is available for download
via itunes, features Woodstock's song Right
Thing.
- Woodstock's newest track,
the Latin-tinged Leap
Of Faith, has just gone into rotation on the Radio
Six International playlist, replacing the original
demo of Shivers
Down My Spine after a 10-week run.
- The new version of
Shivers Down My Spine, recorded with Peter Kearns
in New Zealand, has been picking up plays on Song
Planet Radio where it showed up in the top 20 chart
thanks to airings by DJ
Misanthropy.
- A brand new song from Woodstock, Leap of Faith,
got its first airing on Radio
Six International 's Saturday Sounds programme
on Oct 29.
- Two of Woodstock's
tracks - Clone
July and
Swimming

- On Oct 14 Woody's #1 "hit" Tongue-Tied
was included as part of a special first anniversary
edition of the MWS
Media Radio Show podcast. Woody was one of the
first artists to be featured on the show at the dawn
of Matthew Wayne Selznick's DIY Endeavours project
back in 2004. A souvenir CD is in the works.
- Three weeks after it was composed, Woody's new track
Shivers
Down My Spine (in first demo form) was playlisted
by Radio
Six International for up to 10 weeks. This follows
an initial airing just days after the song was conceived.
Still at Radio Six, a surprise burst of enthusiasm
from fellow musos at Garageband.com has catapulted
Happening
(2005
remix) to #3 in the station's Record Of The Year
Chart.

It's important - a musician's ego needs you.
- Leading podcaster Bob Kingsley included Woodstock's
track Clone July in the fourth of his weekly half-hour
podcasts featuring a choice of Garageband.com artists,
Kingsley's
Corner, which is available for download via this
link. Gratifying attention to detail to hear the
track actually played in July. Based in a cramped
room in Somerset, former ILR jock Bob has unearthed
a rich seam of radio-friendly music that hits the
spot every time. All presented with warmth and proper
radio values.
- Woodstock was one of the "Weekly Fab Four Featured
Artists" at Hidden
Radio for the week starting 9th April 2005. Two
of her songs were also playlisted on the new KIAC
station Hidden
Radio at IAC at the same time.
- Paris-based podcasters Midnight
Special Blues (who broadcast from Live
365 out of Foster City, California) playlisted Woody's
track Tongue-Tied in its thirteenth week at the #1
spot at mp3unsigned.com in the spring. Also on MSB's
playlist: a couple of hopefuls called BB King and
Eric Clapton.
- Radio
Six International
broadcast a special full-length feature programme
on Independent
Artist Aid - Hope Never Dies over Easter.
- Workaholic indie talent scouts LoadPuller
(no mean band in their own right) selected Woodstock's
song Happening
for last week's playlist on Hidden
Radio in March. It was also playlisted at Radio
Six International.
- "Resolution", by Woodstock Taylor, was
played on the Iain Anderson show on BBC Radio Scotland
in March.
- Woodstock now has her own radio station, Tympanali
, at KIAC - part of the Independent Artists Company.
Loads of groovy new tunes - this is the high quality
end of the indie download scene. Three other stations
on this vibrant new site are also playing Taylor tracks
- Moon
Radio, Steve
Ison Picks and Richard Kapp's Cherry
Gum.
On Jan 14, ScriptSchool.com
Radio did a special on Woodstock and her music,
including an extended live interview.
Jan 13 saw Woodstock's chart-topper Tongue-Tied featured
on CUR1350, Cambridge University's student radio station.
Presenter Phil Pethybridge did the honours. With his
clothes on this time.
From Jan 8, Woodstock's music was featured on the weekly
podcast from MWS Media Radio, which provides community,
resources, and services for DIY, independent creative
endeavors.
- Over the New Year music by Woodstock Taylor was
playlisted on the Green Dragon Radio Show.
No money has been paid to any radio station
or promoter to feature Woodstock Taylor's music on their
playlist or podcast.
Championing
UK unsigned music from Wales - this is a must-hear
show for anyone who loves music, radio and independence
of spirit. |
 |
Possibly
bonkers... this London-based station broadcasts
a very cool mix of unsigned sounds. Really entertaining. |
